About the role

Ascendion is seeking dynamic and talented Mobile Developers to join our growing team. As a Mobile Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications that deliver exceptional user experiences. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila.

What you'll be doing

  • Design and develop high-quality mobile applications for iOS, Android & Flutter platforms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and product managers, to translate user requirements into functional mobile solutions
  • Optimise application performance, security, and scalability
  • Implement new features and enhancements based on user feedback and market trends
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure code quality and project deadlines
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile development frameworks, tools, and best practices

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in mobile application development using either iOS (Swift or Objective-C) or Android (Java or Kotlin) or Flutter/Dart
  • Proficient in mobile UI/UX design principles and cross-platform development
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, databases, and cloud-based services
  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, and agile development methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
