About the role
We are seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our team at Daluyon Beach and Mountain Resort in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan. This is a full-time position that will be responsible for a range of accounting duties to support the overall financial operations of the resort.
What you'll be doing
- Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring proper documentation of all transactions
- Preparing and processing accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, reconciliations, and payments
- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, reports, and other accounting documents
- Performing data entry, filing, and other administrative tasks to support the accounting department
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide accurate financial information and support business operations
- Adhering to established accounting procedures, policies, and internal controls
What we're looking for
- Relevant experience as an Accounts Officer/Clerk, ideally in the hospitality or tourism industry
- Strong proficiency in accounting principles, practices, and procedures
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with colleagues and stakeholders
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines
