  6. Prepares and submits a monthly report on consumed medicines and medical supplies manually in MS Excel/Open Office.org Calc.
  7. Prepares memorandum for posting on health bulletins or marketing materials such as health advisories sent via email, flyers/leaflets placed on racks, tarpaulin, and campaign posters placed in strategic locations.
  8. Prepares the clinic's annual budget on medicines, medical supplies, and postgraduate seminars for nurses in MS Excel/Open Office.org Calc.
  9. Provides health teachings to employees who consulted the clinic regarding health problems and inquiries.
  10. Attends to Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) inquiries in the absence of the HMO coordinator.
  11. Prepares Social Security System (SSS)/Employees Compensation (EC) forms and requirements for confined employees.
  12. Prepares water samples to be forwarded to UP Natural Sciences Research Institute for potability testing. (Conduct water refilling station inspection daily in the early morning at WTP area.)
  13. Coordinates and assists contractual employees/concessionaires during Annual Physical Examination (APE) and Pre-Employment Medical Examination at Steel Asia accredited medical facility.
  14. Prepares and submits a monthly sickness/illness report.
  15. Conducts health and safety orientation programs for new employees.
  16. Participates in Integrated Management System (IMS) action plan implementation and monitoring such as conducting a project on Prevention of the spread of communicable diseases inside SteelAsia Plant; Action plans are as follows: orientation of contractuals/concessionaires, refer/coordinate on Employee's medical examination, inform/explain the results, make necessary referrals, recording, and monitoring.
  17. Conducts Canteen weekly inspection.
  18. Conducts plant inspections for any hazards or unsafe conditions and practices.
  19. Coordinates with Supervisors and Safety Engineer in the promotion of health and safety training for employees.
  20. Issues, approves, records, and monitors Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). (for safety officer)
  21. Creates and implements health and safety programs such as corporate vaccination.
  22. Conducts home visits to sick leave employees.
  23. Submits Dole Annual Medical Report.
  24. Conducts annual City Health Card renewal.
  25. Prepares monthly WAIR to email to HO for submission to Dole.

JOB QUALIFICATION:

Education: Degree in BS Nursing

Experience: Knowledge in the following areas:

  • Nursing practice/procedures
  • Safety training
  • Employee relations
  • Files and Records Management
  • Computer literate

Certification/License: Must be a Registered Nurse.
