Position Overview:
We are looking for a talented Structural Designer to support our projects by developing and designing structural systems using Aveva E3D. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural design, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain accurate structural layouts, drawings, and support designs.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Conduct site visits to gather information and verify existing conditions.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input to improve design quality and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and company procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of material take-offs and bill of materials.
- Provide technical support during the construction phase of projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural design, with at least 3 years using Aveva E3D.
- Proficiency in Aveva E3D is mandatory; experience with other 3D design software is a plus.
- Strong understanding of structural materials, specifications, and industry standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
