JOB SUMMARY The Testing & Commissioning Engineer manages the equipment testing works of the project and helps in the creation and improvement of testing process, methodologies, procedures, and forms for testing.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
At the Head Office:
Prepares and updates Testing & Commissioning processes, methodologies or procedures, test forms, and database of project’s testing and commissioning contract orders’ costs for future reference.
Studies and reviews pertinent project documents such as contracts and drawings given by the Lead, Testing & Commissioning and Handover for a particular project in preparation of the project’s testing & commissioning works’ checklist such as TOR and Schedule before deployment to site.
Coordinates with Engineering, Procurement, Contracts Management, Project Management Services Group, and Project Execution for any concerns that would affect the outcome of testing and commissioning activities.
Manages and secures on-time mobilization to site of testing Subcontractors.
Assists Project Execution and Purchasing on sourcing out Testing & Commissioning Subcontractors and in the preparation of SAP PRs and COs if the need arises.
Validates Subcontractor’s work and prepares Certificate of Completion (COC).
Attends related trainings in the field of work for advancement on the latest technology of testing and commissioning.
At the Project Site:
Manages and supervises Testing and Commissioning activities including but not limited to testing of High Voltage, Protection, Communication and Control electrical equipment, Air-conditioning, Fire Protections, and other equipment.
Secures quality, timely, and safe Testing & Commissioning activities at site.
Conducts Testing and Commissioning works as needed.
Prepares daily or weekly Testing and Commissioning report of the project.
REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of a Bachelor’s/College degree in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering; Licensed Engineer.
Preferably with 1–2 years' work experience in the same field.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledgeable in project management.
Ability to prepare and implement detailed commissioning plans.
Ability to commission equipment and systems to ensure the optimized operation and adherence to design intent.
Ability to deliver accurate commissioning reports in a timely manner.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office operations (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Work Location: Ortigas, Pasig City; Must be willing to be deployed to project sites nationwide.
