Job Description
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Preferably with 1-5 years of relevant work experience in Accounting, particularly in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit and Collection.
- Experience in credit and collections, including monitoring receivables, following up on overdue accounts, and managing customer credit terms.
- Knowledgeable in financial statements, accounting principles, bookkeeping, and accounting workflows.
- Familiar with government compliance, including permits, registrations, tax-related transactions, and other statutory requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF Functions, basic formulas) and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to work onsite in Grace Park, Caloocan City.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform accounting audits and verify expenses to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Process, monitor, and reconcile Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions.
- Handle credit and collection activities, including monitoring outstanding receivables, following up with clients, and maintaining customer credit records.
- Prepare billing statements, official receipts, payment vouchers, and journal entries.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Maintain accurate and organized accounting records, files, and supporting documents.
- Process government payments, permits, renewals, registrations, and ensure timely compliance with statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with government agencies regarding tax filings, permits, and other regulatory requirements.
- Assist during internal and external audits by preparing the necessary documents and schedules.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash disbursements.
- Ensure all accounting transactions are properly recorded and documented.
- Support the Finance and Accounting Department in various accounting and administrative tasks as assigned.
