Job Qualifications

Education

  • Business Administration
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Logistics
  • Accounting or Finance

Experience

  • 1–3+ years in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain (entry roles may accept fresh graduates)
  • Experience in vendor sourcing, bidding, or contract management is an advantage

Knowledge

  • Familiarity with procurement processes and documentation
  • Understanding of laws like the Republic Act No. 9184 (for government roles)
  • Knowledge of inventory systems and procurement software (e.g., ERP systems)

Job Responsibilities

Procurement Planning

  • Analyze purchasing needs of departments
  • Prepare procurement plans and schedules
  • Identify potential suppliers and request quotations
  • Evaluate vendors based on price, quality, and reliability

Bidding & Negotiation

  • Conduct bidding processes (especially in government)
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms

Purchase Order Management

  • Prepare and process purchase orders (POs)
  • Track orders to ensure timely delivery

Cost Control

  • Monitor budgets and ensure cost efficiency
  • Look for ways to reduce procurement expenses

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure all purchases follow company policies and legal requirements
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and reports
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors
  • Resolve issues like delays, shortages, or quality problems
