Your Role

As an E-commerce Manager - Marketplace, you will take ownership of third‑party marketplace operations and growth across platforms such as Amazon, Walmart, Target, eBay, and Faire. You will manage marketplace strategy, product listings, advertising, pricing, promotions, inventory, account health, reporting, and overall profitability.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute marketplace strategies to grow sales, market share, conversion, and profitability.
  • Manage day-to-day operations across Amazon Seller Central/Vendor Central, Walmart, Target, eBay, and other marketplaces.
  • Plan and optimize Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, PPC, Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display campaigns.
  • Improve product listings through SEO, keyword research, titles, descriptions, images, videos, A+ Content, Brand Stores, and category placement.
  • Monitor key marketplace metrics including sales, traffic, conversion, ROAS, ACOS, TACOS, gross margin, fees, returns, and contribution profit.
  • Manage pricing, promotions, coupons, deals, seasonal campaigns, Buy Box performance, and competitor activity.
  • Maintain marketplace catalogs and resolve listing suppressions, variation issues, feed errors, content conflicts, and compliance concerns.
  • Coordinate inventory planning, forecasting, replenishment, FBA/WFS, merchant fulfillment, and aged or stranded inventory with operations and warehouse teams.
  • Lead new product launches, including keyword research, content development, inventory planning, advertising, promotions, and post‑launch analysis.
  • Monitor account health, reviews, returns, claims, chargebacks, policy compliance, and brand protection concerns.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports highlighting results, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Creative, Sales, Product, Customer Service, Finance, Purchasing, Warehouse, and IT teams.
  • Support marketplace integrations and product feeds using Shopify, Rithum/ChannelAdvisor, Shopify Marketplace Connect, ERP/OMS platforms, and similar tools.

What We’re Looking For

  • 4+ years of hands‑on ecommerce marketplace management experience, with direct experience managing Amazon Seller Central or Vendor Central.
  • Proven track record of achieving measurable improvements in marketplace sales, advertising performance, profitability, product launches, or catalog growth.
  • Strong experience managing high‑volume product catalogs across Amazon, Walmart, Target, eBay, or similar marketplaces.
  • Strong knowledge of Amazon Seller Central, Amazon Ads, FBA, Brand Registry, A+ Content, Buy Box, marketplace SEO, and compliance.
  • Experience with Walmart Marketplace, Walmart Connect, WFS, Target Plus, Target.com, eBay, or comparable platforms.
  • Strong understanding of PPC, retail media, SEO, keyword research, conversion optimization, pricing, promotions, and digital merchandising.
  • Ability to analyze marketplace P&L, contribution margins, advertising efficiency, inventory, fees, returns, and SKU‑level profitability.
  • Proficiency with marketplace tools such as Rithum/ChannelAdvisor, Shopify Marketplace Connect, Shopify, or CommerceHub.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, data cleaning, trend analysis, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, project management, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Self‑motivated and detail‑oriented, with the ability to balance strategic planning with hands‑on execution.
  • Experience with ERP/OMS platforms such as Odoo, NetSuite, or similar systems is an advantage.
  • Experience in outdoor products, sporting goods, home décor, gifts, or other SKU‑intensive consumer product categories is preferred.
