About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Unit Manager to join our team at AXA Philippines in San Juan, La Union. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our organisational structure, directly contributing to the growth and profitability of our insurance operations. As Unit Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of insurance professionals, driving business development, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service. This role is instrumental in achieving our strategic objectives and expanding our market presence in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and develop a team of insurance agents and staff to achieve sales targets and performance objectives
• Develop and implement effective business strategies to grow the unit's revenue and market share
• Recruit, train, and mentor team members to enhance their skills, product knowledge, and sales capabilities
• Monitor and analyse unit performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
• Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to promote customer retention and satisfaction
• Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to support team member development
• Manage unit operations, including budgeting, resource allocation, and administrative responsibilities
• Identify market opportunities and develop initiatives to enhance business growth and competitiveness
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with company procedures and regulatory obligations

What we\'re looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in insurance, financial services, or related management roles
• Proven track record of successfully leading and managing teams to achieve sales and performance targets
• Strong understanding of insurance products, underwriting principles, and financial services operations
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute business strategies that drive growth and profitability
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound business decisions
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Filipino
• Knowledge of insurance regulations and compliance requirements in the Philippines
• Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field
• Valid driver\'s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and CRM systems
• Preferred: Previous experience with AXA or other multinational insurance companies
