Providing authoritative accounting guidance on complex and non-routine transactions;
Leading assessments of derivatives, hedging strategies, and fair value measurements;
Preparing and reviewing technical accounting memoranda and position papers;
Advising management on accounting implications of strategic transactions;
Coordinating with external auditors and regulators on technical accounting matters;
Monitoring new accounting standards and regulatory developments;
Conducting quality control reviews of PFRS and IFRS financial statements (quarterly and annual);
Building technical capabilities across the finance organization; and
Performing financial modeling and financial valuation for certain projects.

Preferred Qualifications

Certified Public Accountant (CPA);
Extensive experience in technical accounting, preferably from Big Four accounting firms and/or large financial institutions;
Deep expertise in accounting for derivatives, hedge accounting, financial instruments, and valuation;
Strong understanding of IFRS/PFRS accounting standards, regulatory reporting requirements, and related applications;
Extensive experience in financial modeling and financial valuation;
Sound experience in audit and internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR);
Proven ability to engage with senior management and external stakeholders; and
Experience in US SEC reporting or equivalent.
