Mid-Level QA Automation Engineer

Must Have (Skills):

  • . 3-6 yrs in software testing, 2-3 yrs in automation
  • . Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar
  • . API testing (Postman or similar)
  • . Basic to intermediate SQL
  • . Agile/Scrum experience
  • . 1+ yr in insurance (P&C, commercial, or life)

Nice to Have (Skills):

  • . Guidewire or similar insurance platforms
  • . BDD (Cucumber, SpecFlow)
  • . CI/CD (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
  • . Basic programming (.NET, Java, Python, TypeScript)
  • . AI-assisted testing tools

Responsibilities:

  • . Design, build, and run manual and automated tests for web and API apps
  • . Maintain reliable automation suites in CI
  • . Validate REST and SOAP APIs check data with SQL
  • . Run regression, integration, and UAT testing
  • . Track defects to resolution
  • . Collaborate with Devs and POs join Agile ceremonies
  • . Improve test coverage and QA processes
