Job Summary
We are looking for a Category Manager – Flooring & Bathroom Fixtures who will be responsible for managing and growing the assigned product categories. The role will oversee assortment planning, supplier management, pricing, promotions, inventory, and sales performance to ensure category profitability and meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement category strategies aligned with business goals, market trends, and customer needs.
Manage product assortment, pricing, promotions, merchandising plans, and new product launches.
Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate commercial terms, and ensure product quality, competitiveness, and availability.
Monitor sales, inventory, margins, turnover, and overall category performance, including competitor and market analysis.
Develop and execute action plans to drive sales growth, improve margins, optimize inventory, and maximize category profitability.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
At least 3–5 years of experience in Category Management, Merchandising, Buying, or Purchasing, preferably in retail.
Experience in Flooring, Bathroom Fixtures, Sanitary Wares, Construction Materials, or Home Improvement products is an advantage.
Strong negotiation, supplier management, analytical, and commercial skills, with good knowledge of pricing, inventory, and product assortment.
Strong communication and decision-making skills; willing to work on-site and travel when necessary.
