About the role
We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory, deliveries, warehouse personnel, and operational compliance while ensuring efficient workflows, accurate order fulfillment, workplace safety, and continuous improvement of warehouse processes.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 4-5 years of relevant experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations, with supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Technical Skills: Knowledgeable in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel), computer applications, and basic troubleshooting.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills with the ability to motivate teams, delegate tasks effectively, resolve problems, manage multiple priorities, and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, customer service, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Work Ethic: Highly organized, adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to perform efficiently under pressure while maintaining workplace safety and operational standards.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, and timely product dispatch while ensuring accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Plan and monitor delivery schedules, route utilization, and vehicle availability to ensure on-time and complete deliveries.
- Supervise, train, coach, and evaluate warehouse personnel, monitor attendance and workload, conduct team meetings, and recommend staffing requirements as needed.
- Ensure warehouse facilities, equipment, and documentation are properly maintained, organized, and compliant with Good Warehouse Practices (GWP), 5S standards, and health and safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory accuracy, reconcile discrepancies, maintain adequate operational supplies, and prepare timely operational and inventory reports.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement initiatives to enhance warehouse productivity, efficiency, and service quality.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
