Duties and Responsibilities

Faculty are expected to teach, develop new courses, engage in interdisciplinary research, apply for external funding for their research, advise students, and contribute to translating research into action.

Position Qualifications

PhD or equivalent doctoral degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, Medical Statistics, or a closely related quantitative discipline. Strong publication track record. Senior applicants would require a funding track record.

Your focus must be in one of the following areas:

• Biostatistics / Statistical Genetics
• Clinical Trials Methodology / Survival Analysis
• Quantitative Epidemiology / Public Health Methods

Applicant should have experience in the design, development, and application of rigorous biostatistical techniques to clinical trials, epidemiology, genomics, or large-scale electronic health records.

The ideal candidate will combine classical statistical theory with high-performance statistical computing to solve high-dimensional data integration challenges in public health and medicine.

Note: Candidates whose work primarily does not have a public health focus are not eligible.
