Key Responsibilities

1. Service Functions:

  1. Manage the delivery of Customer Connect Services Claims related functions such as, but not limited to, claims connect email, with SMS and mobile access for the unit.
  2. Facilitate claims handling of denial and appeal cases, and represent claims on escalated claim cases, VOC related claims, and other communication requirements to both distributors and claimants.
  3. Manage efficiently all VIP claims coordination registration process, ensuring completion of claim requirements, status, and final decision communication.
  4. Manage customer service recovery and resolution within target TAT from all claims related customer feedback/complaints received. Escalate potential claims complaints with UW/Claims committee.

2. Documentation and Special Projects:

  1. Provide support on an ad hoc basis preparation of admin and statistical reports, including UAT testing on claim initiatives.
  2. Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned to help meet operational related requirements.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be a college graduate; business-related or pre-med course preferred.
  • Experience working in an insurance back-office claims operation is required.
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to communicate effectively with all internal and external stakeholders.
