Monroe Consulting Group, an Executive Recruitment firm, is partnering with an organisation in the Industrial industry to hire a Technical Planning Head. This opportunity is based in Cebu City, Philippines, with an onsite work arrangement.
Position Overview
Lead the coordination of design development, technical planning, and project implementation to support efficient and successful project execution.
Drive collaboration among consultants, construction teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure technically sound, cost-effective, and value-engineered project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design and planning coordination with Design Consultants and ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Coordinate project implementation with the Construction Team to ensure smooth and efficient execution.
- Review and analyze architectural and project plans to identify opportunities for value engineering, cost optimization, and clash-free implementation.
- Ensure design solutions are practical, compliant, and aligned with project objectives and timelines.
- Stay abreast of emerging design technologies, industry trends, and best practices relevant to architectural and project planning.
- Manage consultant budgets, contracts, deliverables, and performance.
- Coordinate closely with Business Development, Sales, Marketing, Permitting, and Operations teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including design decisions, revisions, approvals, and project deliverables.
- Monitor project requirements and ensure that technical and design-related deliverables are completed within agreed timelines.
Key Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
- Licensed Architect in the Philippines.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Architectural Design, Interior Design, Planning Coordination, and Project Implementation.
- Willing to work onsite in Cebu City.
Technical / Functional Expertise
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge or experience in Building Information Modelling (BIM) is an advantage.
- Experience in architectural design, interior design, planning coordination, and project implementation.
- Experience in consultant budget management, contract administration, and project documentation.
- Strong understanding of value engineering, cost optimisation, and clash-free implementation principles.
- Knowledge of emerging design technologies, industry trends, and best practices in architectural planning.

- Strong interpersonal, communication, coordination, and management skills.
- Strong ability to coordinate with consultants, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
