We are looking for a results-driven Sales Supervisor to develop and manage customers in the raw materials and ingredients industry.
The successful candidate must have proven B2B sales experience in at least one of the following market segments:
Feedmill, animal nutrition, or feed additives
Pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or healthcare ingredients
Non-food or industrial raw materials
The position is responsible for generating new business, growing existing accounts, executing sales plans, and coordinating with technical, supply chain, sales administration, and other internal teams to meet revenue, volume, collection, and customer-service targets.
Key Responsibilities
Execute sales plans to achieve assigned revenue, volume, margin, and collection targets.
Identify, prospect, and develop new customers within the assigned industry segment.
Manage and grow existing customer accounts, distributors, and selected key accounts.
Conduct customer visits, sales presentations, product discussions, and commercial negotiations.
Understand customer applications and technical requirements and coordinate with the technical team to recommend suitable products or solutions.
Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline, including leads, product trials, quotations, and pending commercial opportunities.
Monitor market trends, customer requirements, competitor activities, product demand, and pricing developments.
Coordinate with Supply Chain, Sales Administration, Technical, Regulatory, and Finance teams to support order processing, product availability, documentation, delivery, and customer requirements.
Monitor order fulfillment and delivery performance and assist in accounts receivable follow-ups.
Prepare accurate sales forecasts, customer updates, activity reports, and performance reports.
Support product trials, product registrations, documentation, exhibitions, trade shows, and other business-development activities.
Provide guidance and support to junior sales team members when required.
Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and applicable industry regulations.
Perform other sales-related responsibilities assigned by management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Animal Nutrition, Veterinary Medicine, Agriculture, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, Business, Marketing, or another related course.
At least five years of experience in B2B sales, account management, business development, or technical sales.
Must have relevant sales experience in at least one of the following:
Feedmills, animal nutrition, feed additives, or livestock-related products
Pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, healthcare, or laboratory ingredients
Non-food, chemical, personal care, home care, industrial, or specialty raw materials
Experience selling raw materials, ingredients, additives, chemicals, or technical products is strongly preferred.
Proven ability to develop new accounts and consistently meet sales targets.
Strong customer relationship management, negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
Able to understand technical product information and translate it into customer solutions.
Strong analytical, forecasting, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
Willing to conduct regular customer visits and fieldwork.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and customer relationship management or sales-monitoring tools.
