Detailed Job Description

As a Telecom Project Manager supporting multi-site wireless infrastructure rollouts in Davao City via Nimbus, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of project delivery, site engineering, and stakeholder coordination. Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing technical installation (TI) wireless, electrical/mechanical (EM), small cell, microwave, and In-Building Solutions (IBS) projects across regional sites. You will oversee site installation, integration, commissioning, and final customer acceptance, manage project planning, budgeting, resource allocation, billing, and customer relations, and direct multiple field engineering teams independently. Furthermore, you will coordinate seamlessly with local and international candidates, manage immediate deployment expectations via Viber (+63 917 166 8465), and ensure strict compliance with project timelines and telecommunication industry quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end telecommunications infrastructure projects focusing on TI wireless, EM, small cell, microwave, and IBS deployments.
• Oversee site installation, integration, commissioning, and formal customer acceptance procedures.
• Manage multi-vendor telecom deployments utilizing equipment and standards from Ericsson, Huawei, and ZTE.
• Drive rigorous project planning, budgeting, resource management, financial tracking, and billing operations.
• Coordinate daily project schedules, procurement, and logistics with client stakeholders and internal management.
• Manage and mentor multiple field engineering teams, ensuring adherence to safety guidelines and quality benchmarks.
• Resolve site bottlenecks, engineering discrepancies, and logistical hurdles to maintain aggressive project timelines.
• Prepare comprehensive project status reports, financial summaries, and executive stakeholder presentations.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 10 to 12+ years of progressive professional experience in the telecommunications industry.
• Proven hands-on project management experience in TI (Technical Installation), microwave, RF, and IBS rollouts.
• Practical working experience managing major telecom projects utilizing Ericsson, Huawei, and/or ZTE equipment.
• Strong technical knowledge of site installation, integration, commissioning, and client acceptance workflows.
• Proven expertise in project planning, financial budgeting, resource management, client billing, and stakeholder coordination.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple field teams and deliver complex projects independently.
• Open to local and international candidates (candidates based in the Philippines or available for immediate deployment preferred).
• Mandatory legal eligibility to work with availability for project-based operations in Davao City, Philippines.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certifications.
• Advanced experience in 5G network rollout management and fiber-optic backhaul integration.
• Familiarity with automated project management tools (Jira, MS Project, Primavera).
• Prior professional experience managing large-scale telecom modernization projects across Southeast Asia.
