About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Intermediate Accountant with approximately 2–3 years of hands-on Australian accounting and taxation experience to join our growing team.
This role is suited to someone who already has a solid grounding in Australian accounting and tax compliance and is comfortable managing routine accounting work with a reasonable level of independence.

Key responsibilities
Preparation of company, trust and partnership financial statements
Preparation of tax returns (individual, partnership, company and trust)
Reconcile Accounts (banks, loan, other PL and BS accounts etc)
Maintain the fixed asset register
Process payroll and superannuation
GST Reconciliation
Prepare IAS and BAS and payroll tax
Communication with clients to gather and follow up on the needed information
Perform other tasks as requested or required
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy
CPA is preferred but not required
At least 2 years of Australian experience (accounting or tax or both)
Highly experienced in Xero and XPM
Good communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Willing to be a long-term contract
