THIS ROLE
An experienced preparer role responsible for handling a broader range of routine ETL and data processing activities using established procedures and prescribed guidelines. The role performs pre‑validation checks, documents exceptions for escalation, and prepares draft inputs for senior review. It requires working knowledge of data processes, growing familiarity with client-specific requirements, and the ability to deliver accurate outputs with moderate guidance while supporting continuous improvements through observations.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- You’ll perform ETL activities across a range of routine data sources, preparing, extracting, transforming, and validating data in accordance with established procedures, templates, and quality standards.
- You’ll prepare recurring report inputs, draft report components, and conduct pre-validation and consistency checks to identify discrepancies, ensuring timely escalation of issues when required.
- You’ll maintain a strong understanding of client‑specific requirements, support routine data‑related inquiries, and coordinate effectively with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely deliverables.
- You’ll contribute to quality assurance by documenting exceptions, maintaining reference files, following control procedures, completing required checklists, and escalating risks or non‑standard cases in line with established protocols.
- You’ll support operational efficiency through onboarding activities, knowledge sharing, continuous learning, accurate timesheet completion, and participation in process improvement discussions by identifying recurring issues and opportunities for refinement.

ABOUT YOU
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in data analysis, ETL processes, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and Macro/VBA.
- You have strong expertise in data extraction, transformation, and analysis, including handling complex or unstructured data, troubleshooting technical issues, and applying MS SQL/Data Warehouse concepts in moderately complex scenarios.
- You are proficient in data visualization and storytelling best practices, with advanced Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to support dashboard integrity, reporting accuracy, and continuous enhancements.
- You possess strong communication, organizational, and prioritisation skills, enabling you to explain technical concepts, provide guidance to preparers, manage multiple responsibilities, and work effectively with minimal supervision.
- You are a proactive, detail‑oriented, and collaborative professional who contributes to process improvements, identifies and mitigates risks, mentors junior team members, and remains committed to continuous learning, quality standards, and industry best practices.
