  1. Ensure that the radiology services support patient safety, patient experience, patient access and quality.
  2. Provide strategic direction, oversight, and decision making for the radiology services and department.
  3. Assign, assist, and supervise work of the radiology staff and serve as the support person for the radiology staff in the provision of patient-focused radiology services.
  4. Develop and implement plans and programs for improvement of patient care services to meet changing patient care needs.
  5. Ensure compliance with government codes, regulations, and mandates relative to the operations of Radiology services.
  6. Initiate quality improvements of the Radiology Unit.
  7. Formulate Radiology standards and policies.
  8. Be responsible for team development to ensure timely and accurate delivery of patient services.
  9. Prepare and submit budget information as required.
  10. Ensure that the service attitude and standards are being practiced by Radiology Personnel.
  11. Perform other related duties or responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
