Job Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning:
  1. Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
  2. Create a detailed project plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  3. Develop a budget and cost estimates for the project.
Team Coordination:
  1. Assemble project teams, assigning roles and responsibilities.
  2. Provide leadership and direction to the project team members.
  3. Foster collaboration and effective communication among team members.
Risk Management:
  1. Identify potential risks and issues that may impact the project.
  2. Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
  3. Monitor and address risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Resource Management:
  1. Allocate and manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and software/hardware.
  2. Ensure resources are utilized efficiently to meet project goals.
Project Execution:
  1. Manage the overall timeline, scope, and budget of the assigned projects to ensure project allocations of resource and budget and to avoid conflict on schedule and resources.
  2. Monitor project progress and ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
  3. Track and report on project performance using key performance indicators (KPIs).
  4. Address and resolve any issues or roadblocks that may arise during project execution.
Stakeholder Communication:
  1. Present the Project Status of IT Projects to Senior Management and to the ExCo and Board as needed.
  2. Regularly communicate project status and updates to stakeholders, including sponsors, clients, and senior management.
  3. Manage stakeholder expectations and address their concerns.
Quality Assurance:
  1. Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and conform to relevant regulations and industry best practices.
  2. Implement quality control processes and conduct quality assurance checks.
Change Management:
  1. Manage scope changes and assess their impact on the project timeline and budget.
  2. Document and gain approval for changes from relevant stakeholders.
  3. Perform Organizational Change Management activities as needed.
Documentation:
  1. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and issue logs.
  2. Ensure all project-related information is accessible and organized.
Project Closure:
  1. Conduct a thorough project review to evaluate the project's success and lessons learned.
  2. Obtain formal project sign-off and close out the project, including final documentation and handover to relevant teams.
Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • PMP (Project Management Professional), Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or other relevant project management certification is preferred.
  • Proven experience as an IT project manager for medium to large projects, with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Actual project management experience in IT Projects (ERP, Cybersecurity, Mobile Apps, Web Apps, Cloud, SaaS, integration/middleware, Data Warehouse, AI/ML Applications, infrastructure modernization).
  • Actual project management experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent knowledge of all aspects of Information Technology specifically with complex software development lifecycle environment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software, such as Microsoft Project or JIRA.
  • Familiarity with business & IT architecture, applications, infrastructure, software development, and other technology-related processes.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations is a plus.
  • Experience: At least five (5) to seven (7) years of related work experience, with exposure to project management.
