About The Role
KDCI Outsourcing is looking for a CAD Designer/Animator 2 to independently produce accurate 2D drawings, detailed 3D models, and polished animations and visualizations for 3D product modeling work. The role takes project briefs, sketches, and technical specifications and delivers production-ready outputs with minimal supervision. The primary focus is CAD design, with animation skills used to create clear, compelling visualizations. The ideal candidate combines technical precision with creative storytelling and has a firm command of design standards and rendering workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End CAD Production: Own all stages of CAD design and animation, from concept development and drafting to final rendering and delivery
- Technical Translation: Convert project briefs, sketches, and specifications into accurate, production-ready 2D drawings and 3D models
- Animation & Visualization: Create high-quality animations, walkthroughs, and visualizations that clearly communicate designs to clients
- Optimization: Optimize models, textures, and render settings for efficient workflows and file performance
- Collaboration & Revisions: Work with project leads, clients, and other departments to refine requirements and incorporate revisions
- Continuous Learning: Stay current with the latest CAD, 3D, and animation tools and trends
Requirements & Tools
Must-Have
- Ideally 3-5 years of experience in CAD design, 3D modeling, or animation (candidates with at least 2 years may be considered)
- Proven experience handling the full CAD production process, from concept and drafting to final rendering and delivery
- Ability to create high-quality animations, walkthroughs, and visualizations
- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD
- Strong understanding of design principles, technical drawing standards, and the complete 3D pipeline (modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering, animation)
- Strong portfolio showcasing CAD design, 3D modeling, and animation capabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft and Google Office tools
- Good verbal and written English communication skills
