The successful candidate will ensure optimal inventory levels, maximize production efficiency, improve customer service levels, and support working capital optimization while maintaining uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning
Develop and manage short-term, medium-term, and long-term production plans.
Translate sales forecasts into achievable production schedules.
Ensure optimum utilization of production capacity and resources.
Coordinate with Production to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
Monitor and improve production plan adherence.
Inventory Management
Establish inventory policies and safety stock levels.
Monitor raw materials, packaging materials, WIP, and finished goods inventory.
Minimize inventory holding costs and prevent stock obsolescence.
Conduct regular inventory reviews and slow-moving stock analysis.
Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts and stock audits.
Material Planning & Procurement Coordination
Manage Material Requirement Planning (MRP).
Ensure timely availability of imported and local raw materials.
Coordinate closely with Procurement to avoid material shortages.
Develop contingency plans for supply disruptions.
Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
Facilitate monthly S&OP meetings.
Align sales forecasts with production capacity and inventory plans.
Provide capacity and inventory recommendations to management.
Support demand planning and forecasting accuracy improvements.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
Develop and maintain PPIC dashboards and KPI reports.
Analyze forecast accuracy, inventory performance, service levels, and production adherence.
Recommend continuous improvement initiatives to improve operational performance.
Team Leadership
Lead and develop the PPIC team.
Build planning capabilities and cross-functional collaboration.
Drive accountability and continuous improvement culture.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or related field.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of Production Planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
At least 3 years in an assistant managerial role.
Experience leading a team.
Experience in tissue paper, paper converting, FMCG, packaging, or consumer goods manufacturing an advantage.
Experience managing large SKU portfolios.
