An Electrician in logistics maintains and repairs the electrical systems, automated material handling equipment, and power infrastructure that keep warehouses, fulfillment centers, and shipping networks running.
Key responsibilities

Inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs wiring, lighting fixtures, circuit breakers, and main electrical panels in warehouses or port facilities

Maintains complex machinery used in logistics—such as conveyor systems, automated sorting equipment, and industrial cranes

Services specialized transport or shipping vessels, including reefer (refrigerated) containers, truck electrical systems, and bulk carriers

Ensures all installations follow safety codes to prevent power failures that cause costly supply chain downtime
Qualifications:

High school diploma or vocational training

Electrician NC I or NC II certification (or regional equivalent)

Strong diagnostic abilities and ability to read electrical blueprints

Understanding of circuits, high-voltage systems, and wattage

Background as a building, marine, or industrial maintenance electrician
