About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Workday Payroll Specialist to join our team and support the development, configuration, integration, and enhancement of enterprise Workday solutions.
This role is ideal for professionals with strong Workday expertise, particularly in Payroll and other HCM modules, who thrive in a dynamic environment and enjoy collaborating with both technical and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Workday Payroll and/or other Workday modules.
- Support the full software development lifecycle for enterprise application solutions.
- Configure, customize, deploy, and maintain Workday applications and related business systems.
- Design, develop, and support integrations between Workday and internal systems such as SAP and other enterprise platforms.
- Troubleshoot issues, debug existing solutions, and implement enhancements as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality business solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or any related field.
Workday Expertise
Candidates should possess strong experience in Workday Payroll and/or one or more of the following Workday modules:
- Core HCM
- Benefits
- Compensation
- Talent Management
- Absence Management
- Time and Attendance Tracking
- Integrations
- Security
- Data Conversion
Technical Skills
Hands‑on experience in one or more of the following Workday technologies:
- Advanced Custom Reports
- Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)
- Core Connectors
- PICOF / PECI
- Workday Studio
- Workday Web Services
Experience or exposure to the following is highly desirable:
- ServiceNow HR Service Delivery Suite
- ServiceNow Administration
- Portal Configuration (portals, widgets, content automation)
- REST and SOAP integrations
- Workflow automation and low‑code platforms
Additional experience in the following technologies is an advantage:
- C#, C++, Java, Python, R
- Angular, Node.js
- SQL
- Ansible
- Microsoft Azure
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX
- Web Services (WCF/REST)
- Oracle and SQL Server
Methodologies & Practices
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban.
- Understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.
