Job Overview

We are looking for a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive Reporting & Data Analyst to support our operational and commercial teams through accurate reporting, data analysis, dashboard development, and process improvement.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banking, financial services, fintech, or a related financial operations environment, with excellent knowledge of Excel and experience working with large datasets, financial information, operational reports, and KPIs.

This role requires someone who can do more than simply prepare reports. The successful candidate should be able to understand the business behind the numbers, identify discrepancies and trends, investigate the root cause of issues, and turn complex information into clear, easy-to-understand reports and dashboards for clients and internal stakeholders.

This is an office-based role that requires strong collaboration, communication, and ownership.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Prepare, maintain, and analyze operational, financial, and commercial reports.
• Work with large datasets across multiple reports and systems.
• Review and validate data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Perform data cleansing, reconciliation, error checking, and validation.
• Identify trends, anomalies, discrepancies, and reporting gaps.
• Conduct root cause analysis and investigate unusual or inconsistent results.
• Develop and maintain KPI and SLA reports.
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve reporting processes.
• Translate complex data into meaningful insights and actionable information.

Reports & Dashboard Development

• Create clear, structured, and user-friendly reports and dashboards.
• Ensure reports are easy for clients and non-technical stakeholders to understand and interpret.
• Present data in a visually clear format, highlighting important trends, KPIs, issues, and insights.
• Develop reports that tell a clear story rather than simply presenting raw numbers.
• Adapt reports and dashboards based on client and stakeholder requirements.
• Support the preparation of management reports and presentations.
• Clearly explain findings and recommendations to clients and internal teams.

Financial & Commercial Analysis

• Support revenue recognition and profitability analysis.
• Review financial and operational data to identify discrepancies and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop an understanding of the invoice lifecycle, including invoice creation, submission, tracking, and reconciliation.
• Monitor operational costs and commercial performance.
• Assist with analysis related to work-in-progress (WIP), revenue, costs, and billing.
• Ensure financial and commercial reports are accurate and properly supported by underlying data.
