About the role
Overall site management role supervising day-to-day construction activities, ensuring work follows approved plans, specifications, and schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities and ensure work follows approved plans, specifications, and schedule
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, materials, equipment deliveries and placement
- Prepare and monitor the construction schedule
- Coordinate upcoming activities with the owner, consultant, and subcontractors
- Monitor productivity and attendance
- Ensure workers follow proper site procedures and safety rules
- Monitor material usage and prevent unnecessary wastage
- Ensure construction is performed according to drawings and specifications
- Act as the main site contact between the owner, contractor, consultant, subcontractors, suppliers, and management
- Monitor work against the approved budget and track variations and change orders
