Oversee all aspects of concrete production and placement, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards (e.g., ASTM, ACI), and client requirements.
Conduct rigorous testing and inspection procedures on concrete materials (cement, aggregates, admixtures), fresh concrete (slump, temperature, air content), and hardened concrete (compressive strength, cylinder testing).
Maintain detailed records of all testing and inspection activities, including test results, observations, and any non-conformances, and prepare comprehensive reports for project management.
Strong knowledge of concrete technology: in-depth understanding of concrete mix design, testing procedures (slump test, compressive strength test, etc.), and quality control standards (e.g., ASTM, ACI).
Data analysis and reporting: ability to collect, analyze, and interpret test data, identify trends, and prepare clear and concise reports on concrete quality.
Problem-solving and decision-making: ability to identify and troubleshoot potential concrete quality issues, implement corrective actions, and make informed decisions to ensure compliance with specifications.
