Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and deploy PowerApps applications that address specific business requirements and user needs
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and analysts to gather requirements and translate them into functional PowerApps solutions
- Create and maintain Power Apps canvas apps and model-driven apps using industry best practices
- Integrate PowerApps with Microsoft Dynamics 365, SharePoint, SQL databases and other enterprise systems
- Develop and customise workflows using Power Automate to automate business processes and improve operational efficiency
- Build data models and manage data connectivity within the Power Platform ecosystem
- Perform testing and quality assurance on applications to ensure they meet functional and non-functional requirements
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for deployed PowerApps applications
- Document solutions, processes and technical specifications for future reference and knowledge transfer
- Stay current with PowerApps updates, features and industry trends to recommend improvements and innovations
What we're looking for
- Proven experience developing applications using Microsoft PowerApps and the Power Platform
- Strong proficiency in Power Automate (formerly Microsoft Flow) for workflow automation
- Experience working with Microsoft Dataverse (Common Data Service) and data modelling
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and its integration with PowerApps
- Knowledge of SharePoint integration and utilisation within the Power Platform
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as C#, JavaScript or similar, with an understanding of how it applies to the Power Platform
- Experience with SQL Server and relational database concepts
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with business teams and technical colleagues
- Microsoft certifications such as Power Platform Developer Associate or Power Platform Functional Consultant are highly valued
- Experience in requirements gathering, user experience design and user-centric application development
- Familiarity with Azure services and cloud-based solutions is advantageous
