The Data Scientist will be responsible for data preparation, technical prompt engineering, RAG/LLM pipeline engineering, and evaluation and testing, providing overall support for the GenAI platform.

Responsibilities
  1. Data Preparation: Collect, clean, and preprocess data to ensure it is suitable for training and deploying LLM models.
  2. Technical Prompt Engineering: Develop, test, and optimize prompts for LLM models to improve performance and accuracy.
  3. RAG/LLM Pipeline Engineering: Design, implement, and optimize RAG/LLM pipelines for various applications.
  4. Evaluation and Testing: Conduct rigorous testing and validation of models to ensure high performance and reliability.
  5. Platform Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for the LLM platform, addressing user queries and issues.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  7. Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of processes, configurations, and best practices.
  8. Quality Assurance: Ensure data integrity and model performance through rigorous testing and validation.
  9. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML and NLP to continuously improve prompt engineering and data preparation practices.
  10. Deliver: Build and maintain the Data Driven solutions that are core to Group Operations strategy.
Business
  1. Design Machine Learning, Natural Language and Decision Optimisation applications architecture.
  2. Design ML, NLP, and DO models, algorithms for predictive & prescriptive analytics.
  3. Translate business requirements to reporting dashboard and analytics.
  4. Perform advanced analytics and statistical modelling on structured and unstructured data.
  5. Work with software engineers to integrate and deploy AI applications.
  6. Assist in the creation of data definitions for new database file/table development and/or changes to existing ones as needed for analysis.
  7. Support the business with clear and insightful analysis applying advanced modelling techniques leveraging the data at hand.

Our Ideal Candidate
  1. Has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or other relevant field; A Master's Degree in Data Science or Data Analytics is preferred.
  2. Has at least 3-5 years of experience in the Data Science field for GenAI platform.
  3. Has solid experience in either Python or R programming language.
  4. Has done application of statistics, classification, regression, segmentation and dimensionality reduction methods, preferably in data science related areas such as econometrics, time-series analysis, optimization methods, Bayesian statistics or natural language processing.
  5. Has solid understanding of algorithms like linear regression, logistic regression, decision and regression trees, random forest, boosting algorithms (e.g., XGBoost) etc. and knowledge of data science concepts such as model evaluation metrics, cross-validation, bootstrapping, hyperparameter tuning, feature selection, feature engineering, etc.
  6. Has knowledge in the following Tech Stack: Version control systems (e.g. GIT), Cloud technologies, ML Ops, ETL and Data Engineering.
