Qualifications
At least 1 year of experience in recruitment, preferably with experience hiring for specialized or niche roles.
Experience in sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for specialized positions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable conducting online initial interviews.
Strong candidate assessment and screening skills.
Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple applicants simultaneously.
Proficient in Google Sheets/Excel and online recruitment tools.
Experience using job platforms such as SEEK, Indeed, Kalibrr, LinkedIn, or similar platforms is an advantage.
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems or recruitment databases.
Able to work independently and meet recruitment targets.
Reliable internet connection and suitable work-from-home setup.
Duties & Responsibilities
The Part-Time Recruiter will support the HR team in the day-to-day recruitment process, primarily focusing on application screening and initial candidate interviews.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying qualified applicants based on approved job requirements, conducting initial interviews, documenting interview results, coordinating with applicants, and endorsing qualified candidates to the HR team or hiring manager for the next stage of the recruitment process.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Application Screening
Review incoming applications based on the approved job description and qualifications.
Screen applicants and identify candidates who meet the initial requirements.
Send application forms and recruitment-related instructions to applicants.
Monitor application submissions and follow up with applicants when necessary.
Assist with candidate sourcing through approved recruitment platforms when needed.
Initial Interviews
Conduct a minimum of 5-7 initial interviews per working day.
Conduct approximately 20-30 minute interviews per applicant.
Use the approved interview questions and screening criteria.
Assess candidates based on job requirements, experience, communication, availability, and other approved screening criteria.
Document interview notes and recommendations accurately.
Organize interview recordings and transcripts when applicable.
Interview Coordination
Coordinate interview schedules with applicants.
Send interview invitations and reminders.
Follow up with candidates regarding attendance and interview schedules.
Coordinate candidate movement to the next stage with the HR team/hiring manager.
Recruitment Documentation
Maintain updated candidate statuses in the recruitment tracker.
Ensure interview notes, recordings, transcripts, and other candidate information are properly documented.
Provide timely updates to the HR Generalist regarding interview progress.
Maintain confidentiality of applicant information and recruitment records.
Other Recruitment Support
Assist the HR team with recruitment-related administrative tasks.
Support urgent/high-volume hiring requirements when needed.
Perform other recruitment-related duties assigned by the HR team.
