- Perform fiber optic splicing and termination in a variety of environments.
- Conduct regular tests to ensure optimal functionality and performance of spliced fibers.
- Maintain equipment and tools used for splicing and ensure cleanliness and organization of the work area.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and provide solutions efficiently.
- Document splicing records and maintain accurate project files for reference.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience Level: 0–2 years
- Skills and Competencies: Basic knowledge of fiber optic theory and installation techniques
- Qualities and Traits: Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment
- Responsibilities and Duties: Follow safety protocols during all phases of splicing and installation
- Working Conditions: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
