Job Description

The Chief Finance Head is responsible for overseeing the financial health of Marivent Hotels & Resorts. This executive role involves developing and implementing financial strategies, managing budgets, ensuring regulatory compliance, and optimizing profitability across all properties. The Chief Finance Head will lead the finance team, collaborate with senior management, and provide strategic insights to drive sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and long-term strategies to support the company's growth.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Oversee budget planning, financial forecasting, and cost control measures for all properties.
  • Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses for management and stakeholders.
  • Risk Management & Compliance: Monitor financial risks, ensure compliance with government regulations, and implement internal controls.
  • Revenue & Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities to maximize revenue, manage expenses, and improve profitability.
  • Investment & Capital Management: Assess financial feasibility for new investments, expansion projects, and capital expenditures.
  • Tax & Audit Management: Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and optimize tax planning.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in finance management, accounting, or financial strategy, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements in the Philippines.
  • Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze financial data, provide insights, and support business decision-making.
