Role: Inventory Optimization Analyst
Location: Remote
Schedule: Eastern Time Zone
Salary: Open to negotiation based on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Scenario Analysis - Model inventory sell through scenarios (primarily focused on variables for demand, supply, & price). Then, analyze the financial measures related to those scenario models, making recommendations to VP Pricing and reporting on actuals.
- Promotions Management - Manage the intake process for temporary price change requests and provide feedback to requestors/stakeholders.
- Catalog Maintenance - Support the pricing management for 100,000+ SKUs based on explicit rules logic provided, alert and recommend updates as changes occur.
Required Technical Competencies
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; strong aptitude with numbers; retail math skills, understanding of scenario analysis (price elasticity modeling).
- Makes decisions with limited information but also able to synthesize large quantities of data to drive business decisions
- Strong communication and presentation skills: concisely presents complex information/recommendations in terms meaningful to internal and external stakeholders
- System proficiency with strong emphasis on Excel, DOMO or similar BI tools
Requirements
- Experience: 1+ years experience within a high-volume e-commerce environment, preference for Business Intelligence or Operational roles that include analytical decision making.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Finance, or Supply Chain Management.
