JOB SUMMARY:

The successful Senior Java Developer will create and support both front-end and back-end web-based and mobile application software. He/she will build, test, and support various game applications, execute deployment of build programs, and maintain the system throughout its life cycle. Conduct system testing of completed modules and system features, and fix code as needed.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Defines site objectives by analyzing user requirements; envisioning system features and functionality.
  2. Research, study, and maintain existing application software.
  3. Further develop and enhance existing software based on client requirements.
  4. Interpret written business requirements and technical specifications documents.
  5. Create Java applications to meet client's project specifications.
  6. Create, document, and implement unit test plans, scripts, and test harness.
  7. Update job knowledge by researching new internet/intranet technologies and software products.

JOB COMPETENCIES/ SPECIFICATIONS

  1. Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any related course.
  2. At least 7 years overall experience as a software developer.
  3. At least 3 years of relevant experience with API concepts and technologies such as REST, JSON, XML.
  4. Solid grasp of web and backend application development.
  5. Proficient in JDBC/MySQL, Tomcat.
  6. Works with the software and data engineering team for all phases of larger and more-complex development projects.
  7. With strong sense of urgency.
  8. Works well under pressure, highly resilient.
