CAD Administrator (Piping Design) / Philippines

The CAD Administrator will have a background in Piping Design and provide Piping Admin experience including building piping specification databases for a variety of mineral processing projects. The CAD Administrator will work closely with the Piping Design team and international stakeholders within the business whilst maintaining a high degree of professional integrity and work ethics.

Responsibilities:

  1. Be proficient in the administration of Bentley Open plant, AutoCAD P3D, SP3D, E3D or similar software.
  2. Provide Technical Support to the Design Team (Piping & Process).
  3. Troubleshoot any software related errors and provide solutions.
  4. Perform Initial Setup for the Piping CAD Software for Design/Drafting.
  5. Ensures Project setup complies to Project specification and requirements.
  6. Keep abreast of emerging CAD technologies that may be integrated within the Company.
  7. Demonstrate a commitment to quality improvement of CAD drafting design.

Qualification and Experience:

  1. University Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Piping).
  2. 5 years' experience in a similar role with relevant industry experience.
  3. Proficiency in the administration of Bentley Open plant, AutoCAD P3D, SP3D, E3D or similar software.
  4. Background in Piping Design and/or Process Drafting (Able to Read and Interpret PID and to understand technical Piping Specifications).
