JOB TITLE: Specialist: Compliance

DURATION: Thirteen (13) Months Fixed Term Contract

REPORTING TO: Manager: Compliance

JOB GRADE: C4 Minimum Midpoint

RANGE: R 483 125 - R 568 382

NO. OF INCUMBENTS: 1

DIVISION: Office of the CEO

LOCATION: National Office

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To implement Seda's compliance management framework and processes to ensure that the organization complies with legislation and policies as approved by the Seda Board.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
  • Investigate reported non-compliance incidents, fraud allegations, and report thereon.
  • Conduct compliance awareness within the organization.
  • Monitor and audit the implementation of compliance controls.
  • Compile compliance reports for stakeholders.
  • Liaise with relevant compliance regulatory bodies.
  • Manage information related to compliance.
REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION
  • Matric (NQF Level 4) plus a National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Law/Auditing.
  • Bachelor Degree (NQF Level 7) in Law/Auditing is an added advantage.
  • Certificate in Compliance Management is an added advantage.
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE
  • 4 - 6 years' experience in Legal, Audit, and Compliance management.
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Compliance Standards.
