  • Prepares ecozone monthly performance reports and other reports (i.e. TIMTA) submitted to the PEZA.
  • Collates information for applications for BIR and PEZA registrations including tax clearances, ATP, loose leaf, CAS, PEZA incentives certifications, and tax refunds/credits and submits and coordinates these to BIR and PEZA.
  • Prepares quarterly and annual financial related surveys submitted to the PSA.
  • Collates information for correspondences with BIR, LGU, PEZA, and other government agencies for tax and some other compliance related concerns.
  • Supports in the preparation of all information and documents for BIR tax audits such as reconciliations of books and tax returns, and identifies the proper tax treatment of each transaction.
  • Prepares all necessary documents for tax filing and other activities such as but not limited to CORs, ATP, loose-leaf permits, incentives certificates, tax clearances, etc.
  • Supports in the preparation of all information and documents for internal tax health checks such as reconciliations of books and tax returns, and identifies the proper tax treatment of each transaction.
  • Researches and interprets recent applicable tax laws, regulations, decisions, and other legal sources; and prepares presentation materials for monthly tax updates.
  • Prepares and collates reports and reconciliations related to transfer pricing and intercompany related transactions and documentations.
  • Exceeds SLA requirements and client's expectations through exceptional delivery of processes.
  • Looks for better ways and applies industry's best practices, recommending process improvement initiatives to help the team.

  • Ensures compliance with SOX requirements and reviews test results.
  • Ensures daily activities, transactions, and performance of the team meet target goals and checks compliance with local and international standards.
  • Assists in the coordination of annual audit and quarterly review activities of external auditors.
  • Ensures the team complies with internal processes and recommends processes to mitigate or eliminate gaps.
  • Participates in the annual audit and quarterly review activities of external auditors.
  • Gathers and measures correct data from reliable sources, analyzes it, and prepares clear, organized, and decision-useful reports, ensuring validity and integrity.
  • Communicates effectively, applying active listening skills and sound judgment to ensure ideas and information are delivered and presented articulately in all situations for internal or external stakeholders.

Job Specifications:

  • Must be a graduate of BS Accountancy or any related field.
  • Must have at least 2-3 years of experience in auditing, taxation, and/or compliance.
  • Must have working knowledge of Philippine taxation, both on national and local levels.
  • Must have good oral and written English communication skills.
  • Experience dealing with BIR, LGU, PEZA, and other regulatory bodies.
  • Experience with BIR or LGU audits and assessments.
  • Working experience with transfer pricing.
  • Business and data analysis experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in using SAP.
  • Updated knowledge on PAS, PFRS, and other accounting-related standards.
  • Ability to prepare accurate financial and statistical reports.
