Job Description: Site Project Officer (Store Construction Development)

Department: Maintenance Department

Reports to: Project Manager / Maintenance Manager

Work Location: Various Project Sites / Head Office

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

The Site Project Officer is responsible for overseeing and managing the construction and development of new store locations from groundbreaking to turnover. The role ensures that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Site Project Officer coordinates with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to drive the project forward, while also ensuring compliance with all local regulations and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:


• Supervise day-to-day construction activities on-site and ensure adherence to project plans and timelines.


• Coordinate with contractors, architects, engineers, and suppliers for smooth project execution.


• Monitor and report project progress, identifying and resolving any delays or issues.


• Ensure quality control and safety standards are strictly implemented across all construction phases.


• Track project expenses and manage resources to stay within the approved budget.


• Conduct regular site inspections and submit progress reports to management.


• Liaise with LGUs and other relevant authorities for permits, inspections, and compliance requirements.


• Ensure that the construction meets the company's store layout and branding standards.


• Support the turnover process to operations and ensure any punch list items are resolved.

Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or any related construction/technical field.


• At least 2-3 years of experience in site management or project supervision, preferably in retail or F&B construction.


• Knowledgeable in project scheduling, cost control, and construction best practices.


• Proficient in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and construction documents.


• Familiar with relevant construction codes, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.


• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.


• Proficient in MS Office and project management software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD is a plus).


• Willing to travel and be assigned to project sites across the country.
