Job description and minimum qualifications:

BASIC PROCESSING SUPERVISOR – Pangdan, Naga City Cebu

Qualifications:

  1. Educational Background: Graduate of any 4–5 years course in Engineering is an advantage but not required, Business Management, or a related field.
  2. Work Experience: At least 5 years of experience in warehouse and supply and inventory operational roles in a poultry processing (dressing) plant or in a food company/industry.
  3. Skills and Knowledge:
    1. Knowledge in Quality and Food Safety Management System, GMP, SSOP, HACCP, Corporate Environmental, Safety and Health Policy, and Preventive Maintenance.
    2. Excellent knowledge of standard poultry processing production, food safety, SAP controls, inventory, and variance management.
    3. Good communication skills both oral and written.
    4. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
    5. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
    6. Highly mobile and/or can travel anywhere in the country at any time.

The Basic Processing Supervisor oversees daily production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with company standards and safety regulations. This role involves supervising staff, monitoring workflow, and coordinating with other departments to optimize productivity.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise and coordinate processing activities to meet production targets and quality standards.
  2. Monitor and enforce safety, hygiene, and operational procedures.
  3. Train and guide processing staff to improve efficiency and skill development.
  4. Inspect raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  5. Maintain production records and reports for management review.
  6. Identify and resolve production issues promptly.
  7. Coordinate with maintenance teams for equipment upkeep and troubleshooting.
  8. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
