Interior Designer

The Interior Designer will be responsible on identifying creative and suitable décor for our stores. This entails project management which includes timeline and budget management, working with contractors and technicians for the set up of décor, furniture, and fixtures, regular progress reporting, among others. They will ensure the functionality and aesthetics including décor maintenance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Identifies décor needs and put together new and creative design proposals that represents the brand for soon to open and existing stores.

• Directs the installation and set up of multiple store décors which includes but not limited to lamps, umbrellas, fountains, plants, tables, children's corners' toys, comfort room accessories.

• Monitors the upkeep of store décors and design elements in collaboration with cafe heads and representatives.

• Provides assistance in creating and implementing décor installation, repairs, maintenance, dismantling, and relocation guidelines.

• Specifies important details for projects such as cost estimates, materials, and assumed work duration.

• Monitors task and project timelines, including strict adherence to allocated budgets.

• Audits décor placement and presentability on multiple stores and provides reports regarding audit findings which includes improvement recommendations.

• Ensures that all design layouts meet the required codes, legal standards, and correct measurements.

• Coordinates with multiple stakeholders and contractors.

• Creates and provides regular reports and updates regarding project progress.

• Performs other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the immediate head.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of BS Interior Design; license in interior design is an advantage

• With at least 5 years of experience in interior design (retail/hospitality)

• Has experience in creating systems and monitoring templates for tasks and projects

• Outstanding time management and organizational skills

• Working knowledge with any design software, MS Office, and Instant Messaging applications

• Willing to report at our Head Office in Marian Road 2, San Martin de Porres, Paranaque City and must be amenable to travel to multiple Mary Grace stores/kiosks locations
