DESCRIPTION

Job summary:

Amazon seeks a detail-oriented FinOps Analyst for our Accounts Payable Team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a finance role with an understanding of finance operations and will have experience in relationship management. He/she will have problem-solving skills focused on improving processes and strengthening relationships with vendors. The candidate will be action-driven and will need to work proactively on issues related to vendor accounts while identifying areas for improvement.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Working on complex vendor queries and resolving them in a timely manner.
  2. Addressing underlying issues and fixing root causes.
  3. Liaising with internal teams to understand vendor issues and working towards resolution.
  4. Contacting internal stakeholders and coordinating with them on vendor queries.
  5. All other related tasks aligned with the role.
Working Conditions:
  1. Normal office environment.
  2. Report 5x per week to our Pasay office.
  3. This role will primarily report on a morning shift (5 am to 2 pm) and may also be requested to be on a shifting schedule from time to time.
  4. Work during holidays as may be required by the company.
  5. May be asked to render overtime during critical and peak times as may be required by the business.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Good communication skills.
  2. Experience working on time-critical processes.
  3. Working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  4. Flexible working schedule.
  5. This position is open to fresh graduates with a college degree.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Advanced Excel skills are advantageous.
  2. Experience in the BPO industry.
  3. Knowledge of Oracle Financial Application (OFA) is preferred.
  4. Knowledge of supplier/vendor payment queries is preferred.
  5. Experience in Six Sigma methodologies; participation in Lean Projects, Quality Circles, and Creative Work Groups.
