Engineering Manager

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and inspire high-performing engineering teams while ensuring the successful delivery of complex software projects. You will combine technical expertise with people management skills to guide multiple agile teams, foster professional growth, and maintain architectural excellence across diverse tech stacks. The position requires collaboration with global clients and internal stakeholders to align delivery priorities and pre‑sales initiatives. You will monitor project health, drive continuous improvement, and serve as a trusted technical advisor, all while promoting a culture of learning, mentorship, and high‑quality execution. This role is fully remote within LATAM and allows for meaningful impact in a fast‑paced, collaborative, and engineering‑led environment.

Accountabilities

• Lead and manage 2–4 agile engineering teams, ensuring timely delivery of projects while maintaining technical excellence.
• Act as a hands‑on technical leader when required, supporting system architecture decisions, code reviews, and technical evaluations across Java, .NET, Angular, and other technologies.
• Mentor engineers, conduct performance reviews, and create growth plans to develop both junior and senior team members.
• Monitor delivery KPIs, identify risks, and implement process improvements to enhance project health and team efficiency.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams during pre‑sales and project execution, providing technical guidance and ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Maintain and evolve internal SDLC playbooks, onboarding documentation, and knowledge‑sharing practices.
• Promote a culture of excellence, collaboration, continuous learning, and technical innovation.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering with strong technical skills in Java, .NET, and Angular.
• 2+ years of experience leading engineering teams of 5–15 engineers, including performance management and mentorship.
• Proven ability to deliver projects using Agile, DevOps, and modern SDLC practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, distributed systems, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, technical decision‑making capabilities, and familiarity with architectural best practices.
• Advanced English (C1) for collaboration with global clients.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills to manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Nice‑to‑have: experience scaling engineering teams, consulting or multi‑client delivery background, and familiarity with OKRs and structured performance management.
