About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Server to join the team at R Family Pte Ltd in the Novena Central Region. This is a full-time position where you will be at the heart of our hospitality operations, delivering exceptional service to our guests and ensuring a memorable dining experience. As a Server, you will be the crucial link between our kitchen and our guests, combining attentiveness, efficiency and genuine hospitality to create a welcoming atmosphere for all who visit us.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting guests warmly upon arrival and seating them in accordance with restaurant procedures

• Presenting menus and providing knowledgeable recommendations about food and beverage offerings

• Taking accurate food and drink orders from guests and communicating these clearly to the kitchen and bar staff

• Delivering food and beverages to tables in a timely and professional manner, ensuring presentation standards are met

• Checking in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly

• Processing payments and handling cash or card transactions accurately

• Clearing and resetting tables between seatings to maintain cleanliness and organisation

• Maintaining knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and dietary requirements to assist guests with informed choices

• Supporting the team during busy service periods and assisting colleagues as needed

• Adhering to health and safety standards and maintaining high standards of personal hygiene

What we're looking for

• Previous experience working as a Server or in a similar waitstaff role within a hospitality setting

• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with guests and colleagues

• Excellent organisational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tables and orders simultaneously

• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high service standards

• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and the ability to carry items safely

• A positive attitude and genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service

• Reliability and punctuality, with flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends and public holidays

• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service etiquette is desirable

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
