Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements
  • Develop Test Plans and write Test Cases for Web Applications
  • Execute the Test Cases manually and provide sign-offs
  • Define test automation strategies
  • Develop and maintain end-to-end test suites
  • UI Automation: experience in Java or Python; create test scripts; capture elements dynamically; write Gherkin files; basic knowledge/experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, TestComplete)
  • API Automation: strong experience with Postman; framework experience using Apache JMeter, Rest Assured, ReadyAPI, SoapUI
  • Create and execute automated test scripts for regression, functional, and performance testing
  • Identify and report defects, track issues, and collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing
  • Maintain code using Git
  • Write clear and concise test documentation, including test plans and test cases
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and best practices
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in test automation
Qualifications
  • BE/BTech/ME/MTech: [Computer Science] / MCA
  • 5+ years of proven experience in test automation
  • Strong Manual Testing skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with Agile software development processes
  • Familiarity with API testing and tools like Postman
  • Knowledge of software testing methodologies, best practices, and test design techniques
  • Experience with Git
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bitbucket CI, or similar
