QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of Respiratory Therapy
- Must have an active and valid PRC License
- Willing to be assigned in Antipolo City
PRIMARY DUTIES BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Teach asthma patients how to properly inhale the aerosols
- Monitors the oxygen levels in patient’s blood and adjusting treatment accordingly. Administers proper amounts of oxygen to patients
- Provides artificial breathing – in the form of ventilators – to patients who cannot breathe on their own.
- Analyzes the amounts of oxygen, carbon dioxide, and pH levels in a patient’s blood.
- Drains mucus from patient’s lungs using chest physiotherapy.
- Adjusts medical machinery, as needed, to appropriately treat the patient.
- Pulmonary rehabilitation. Runs diagnostic tests.
