LawAdvisor was founded in 2015 in Melbourne, Australia with a fearless and ambitious belief: that everybody should have access to justice.
We hypothesised that the high costs, inefficiencies, and difficulties of obtaining legal help could be overcome simply by providing greater access to legal information, and by providing everybody with real-time access to high-quality, affordable lawyers online.

A Collaborator
Our Accounting & Admin Associate is a steward of seamless and efficient financial processes that support the dynamic and growing company of LawAdvisor. You ensure that our finance operations run like a well-oiled machine, leaving teams empowered and equipped to do their best work. You bring a service-oriented approach to financial management, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and innovation in everything you do.
You will also be responsible for the administrative and operational aspects of LawAdvisor's finance processes, completed in a timely, precise, and strategic manner. This role requires a balance of day-to-day execution and collaboration with teams, vendors, and stakeholders to optimise processes. You'll become the finance team's and other departments' go-to resource for best practices, systems, and policies.
Furthermore, you will focus on ensuring smooth financial workflows, supporting accurate reporting, and collaborating across teams to provide insight and drive action. We are looking for a new Finance Operations Associate to bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas as our finance operations evolve.
You Will…
Finance
Provide general accounting support: assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company policies.
Be a numbers master: manage financial data entry, reconciliation, and reporting to maintain precise and up-to-date records, enabling sound financial decision-making.
Annual budgeting: play a critical role in the annual planning/budgeting process for the UKI Regional team, collaborating closely with stakeholders to align financial goals.
Keep the cash flowing: manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing and payment disbursement.
Operations
Always be on the lookout: identify and address any discrepancies, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
Be an engagement master: collaborate with finance and cross-functional teams to streamline financial operations and improve transparency.
Ensure compliance: manage and complete financial documentation and new hire financial setup on time, ensuring policy adherence, accurate record maintenance, and fulfilling other administrative responsibilities.
Keep processes well-oiled: document, implement, and optimise financial workflows, procedures, and programs, conducting regular reviews for scalability and efficiency.
Teach while you learn: continuously develop your financial expertise while sharing knowledge and insights with the team.
Use a magnifying glass: apply strong attention to detail and analytical thinking when reviewing financial data and reports.
Lend a helping hand: support planning and execution of finance-related initiatives, whether they involve budgeting, forecasting, or financial audits.

Work shift: 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Hybrid schedule with an office in Ayala, Makati
You Should Have…
A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Operations, Business Administration, or Accounting degree.
Experience working in an Accounts Payable role
Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills: you'll need to be proficient in multiple forms of communication to work at your best, communicate with the team, and pitch your own ideas.
A proactive mindset: you can work with little to no guidance and aren't afraid to take the initiative to always look for ways to optimise our day-to-day work.
An open, growth-focused mindset: whether it's self-reflection or feedback from others, you analyse your mistakes and use them as a driving force to improve yourself for the next situation or problem you find yourself in.
The ability to wear multiple hats: strong time management skills and a wide skill set allow you to switch gears quickly as you tackle various tasks and projects.
Problem-solving and analytical skills: you will face a variety of situations and challenges, so you need to be able to craft solutions and think analytically about what the situation demands.
The ability to build domain and industry knowledge quickly.
