Job Description

Analog Devices Philippines is seeking a Design Verification Engineer whose main responsibilities will include the following:

  • Planning simulation tests and creating verification strategies to ensure that the design meets product specifications pre-silicon.
  • Working with design engineers to achieve high design verification coverage.
  • Develop and execute top-level test cases, self-checking test benches, and regressions suites.
  • Developing and validating high-performance behavior models.
  • Verifying block-level and chip-level functionality and performance.
  • Reviewing verification results with IC designers and helping debug any digital RTL and analog schematics design issues seen in simulations.
  • Supporting silicon evaluation and comparing measurement results with simulations.

Qualifications

  • Graduate with a BS in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
  • A good foundation in electronic circuit design and analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced understanding of electronic engineering fundamentals.
  • 5+ years of experience in IC design verification.
  • IC design experience is preferred but not required.
  • Proficient in Object Oriented Programming, Hardware Verification Languages (System Verilog, VHDL), verification methodologies (e.g. UVM, OVM, VMM), Verilog, and C is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of the following protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, AMBA, Memory Controller, etc.).
  • Proficient in using IC Design CAD tools for schematic and layout entry, modeling, simulation, and verification.
  • Familiarity with scripting skills (Python, Perl, or TCL) is an advantage.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work in a large team.
  • Experience with leading a team is an advantage.
