Job Description:

  1. Prepares and conducts examinations (checking of equipment; reviewing patients' schedules; reading physicians' orders for specific examinations; setting up recording equipment; entering patient information into the system).
  2. Inventories and restocks supplies.
  3. Explains procedures to patients and assists them to examination beds or treadmill.
  4. Checks, cleans, and maintains the machines and recommends repair or replacement of defective machines as necessary.
  5. Operates machines to obtain quality and relevant information that will be used in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.
  6. Prepares patients before conducting the procedure (positioning patient; spreading gels; attaching electrodes to chest and equipment; adjusting equipment controls; verifying wave signals).
  7. Ensures quality images are obtained.
  8. Records examination information by printing graphics and data; calculating measurements of heart wall, chamber size, and blood flow direction and velocity; comparing measurements to norms.
  9. Protects patients by adhering to safety policies and protocols.
  10. Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential; cautioning others regarding potential breaches.
  11. Performs related duties as the need arises.

Qualifications:
Must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Medical Science or equivalent.
Candidate must possess at least a Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional).
Minimum of 6 months' work experience in the same field.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Systematic, highly organized, and with a keen eye for details.
Ability to work well with minimum supervision.
Must be customer service-oriented and prepared to liaise with patients.
Computer literate.
